Appeal for witnesses following a burglary in Bracknell

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary of a house on Shelley Avenue, near the junction with Mainprize Road, Bullbrook, Bracknell.
CCTV recording from the targeted property shows that at 4.44hrs on Tuesday 18 May 2021 a group of 3 offenders all dressed in dark clothing including hooded tops and face coverings approached from the road and managed to force the front door open without causing damage.
Having entered the house they searched a handbag stealing an expensive Louis Vuitton purse and contents and keys for a brand new car that was parked on the driveway in front of the house.
The offenders then entered the car and attempted to steal it, but were unsuccessful.
Investigator  PC 1259 Victoria McNicholas of the Priority Crime Investigation team based at Loddon Valley police station said “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, seeing or hearing anything suspicious during the night, or may have security CCTV recordings or other information to report their information On Line via the Thames Valley Police website, or call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43210213555.
If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity “Crimestoppers” anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are asked for, and your call is not traced or recorded, and you wouldn’t be expected to attend court.
