Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

THE BEST MESSAGE EVER – NO CRIME TO REPORT IN THE LAST 48 HOURS

NO BURGLARIES

AND

NO CARS BROKEN INTO !

Just to let you know – as I have taken no annual leave for the last year, I have a balance to take !  I will therefore be on leave from 1st – 31st March.  Others are trained to send messages, but they may not be as frequent.

FIRST:  Emails are circulating offering Covid 19 tests, which range in prices.  Please ignore these emails.  Testing is free and carried out by RBWM and I have received this message from Honor Ryan at Trading Standards:

Hi Jeff,

Re – offers of testing.  Please let everyone know that there is the community testing which is free and provided by RBWM

From Monday 8 February to Wednesday 31 March 2021 (extended to June 2021) the Borough is offering lateral flow tests to public facing workers across the Royal Borough, twice a week, who cannot work from home.
All information is in the link below – who can and cannot be tested, why be tested, before you visit, how to book a test slot, where to go (Maidenhead or Windsor), what will happen i.e. how the procedure will work…

Take care
Honor

NEXT:
We have been receiving reports of young people throwing eggs to passing cars.  This is of course extremely dangerous and we can all imagine the possible results.  In a case in Slough last year, a man was blinded, when the eggs hit his eyes !

If you are a victim of this, or you see this taking place, please ensure you report it to us with as much information re time, location and description of any offenders as soon as possible.

CRIME

I have attached reference numbers to each crime report. If you live in the vicinity of any of the crimes mentioned and have CCTV or a video doorbell, can you please check the footage. If you have any that might be of interest to the police, can you please make contact with us, quoting reference number given.

I have added a new email address below.  The first email address is directly to your local Neighbourhood Team.  The second is to our investigation team.  Please use it to send any intelligence / video doorbell / CCTV footage you may have, which is relevant to any of the crimes lists below - quoting the reference number.

Alternatively you can call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or email - www.crimestoppers-uk.org
