Appeal for witnesses following assault in Banbury

At around 6.20pm on Thursday (4/2) the victim, a 24-year-old man, was walking from Easington Road onto St Georges Crescent when he was attacked by a man and his dog before they both ran off.

The victim sustained injuries from the attack and required hospital treatment.

The offender is described as a white man, in his late twenties, around 5ft 11ins tall with medium length brown hair, short brown stubble and of regular build. He was wearing a black coat which came down to his thighs and grey jogging bottoms.

The dog is described as a large white, shorthaired dog and was wearing a harness.

Anyone with information or who recognises the descriptions above should contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, or make a report online, quoting the reference 43210049092.
