Appeal for witnesses following a robbery in Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Oxford.

At around 9.30pm on Sunday 6 September two masked men entered a property in Chillingworth Crescent, Wood Farm. Once inside the men threatened the victims, two men and two women in their twenties and thirties, with a baseball bat and knuckle duster.

One of the victim’s was hit with the baseball bat on the leg. They did not require hospital treatment.

Two laptops and two mobile phones were stolen. One of the mobile phones was later recovered in The Slade.

The first offender is described as a white man, around 6ft tall and wearing a balaclava. He was also wearing black workman gloves with white writing on the back of the hand and was carrying a silver and white metal baseball bat.

The second offender is described as a white man, tall with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was wearing a black ski mask, black clothing and a glove on his right hand.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Hayward based at St Aldates police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen two men get into a white car parked outside the address around the time of the incident.

“I ask that anyone who has CCTV in the area to please check their footage and come forward if you could help with my investigation.
