Appeal for witnesses following incident of affray in Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of affray in Oxford.

At 12.05am on Tuesday (21/7), five or six people were involved in an altercation in the area of Cuddesdon Way, near to the junction with Pegasus Road in Blackbird Leys.

At least one person was carrying a machete style weapon.

A dark coloured, older model Volkswagen Golf is believed to have been involved and was seen driving towards the Bullnose Morris pub following the incident.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Vicki Reynolds, based at Oxford police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.
“We will be conducting additional patrols in the area over the coming days and would encourage you to approach our officers if you have any concerns.
