Appeal for witnesses following assault - Darvills Lane

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault on Darvills Lane.

At 7.30pm on Sunday 17 May, the victim, a 20 year old man, was on Darvills Lane when the offender pulled up alongside him and demanded that he leave the area. As the victim was cycling away, the offender, who was driving a Blue Mercedes A-Class, drove at the victim and threatened to run him over. The offender then exited the vehicle and assaulted the victim. The victim did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Ashley Jones, based at Slough police station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident, or has any other information, to come forward.

Note: A 39-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of assault with injury. He has been released on police bail until 14/06/20.
