Appeal for witnesses following sexual assault in Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Oxford
At around 3.30pm on Saturday (9/5), the victim, a woman in her thirties, was walking along Hollow Way, Oxford.

At the junction of Crescent Road, she was approached from behind by a man who reached under her dress and touched her inappropriately.
The victim ran away.

The man is described white, around 6ft tall, with short, shaved hair. He was wearing a short sleeved t-shirt.

Investigating officer, PC Matthew Stansfield, based at Cowley police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who has information about this incident to please come forward.
“I am also appealing for anyone in the local area who has CCTV, or any motorists who have a dash-cam, to check any footage in case it may have captured something that would assist with the investigation.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
