Vehicle and Van Security

Whilst we stay inside to help protect the NHS and save lives it is easy to become complacent with our vehicle security.

To help prevent thefts and ensure your car or van is not an appealing target for a thief, we are asking you to be extra vigilant and please consider your vehicle security.

Always ensure your vehicle is secure and locked when not in use. If your car has keyless entry, please keep the electronic fob safe and away from doors and windows when not in use. Consider keeping it in a security pouch to prevent it being scanned by thieves to open and steal your car nearby.

Where possible leave your van empty, mark your tools and register them on a secure property recording website such as
