Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Communities That Care is an innovative Thames Valley Neighbourhood Watch led project, that aims to make sure that elderly and more vulnerable people have access to community based support from trusted local people to enable them to protect themselves against fraudsters and ensure they are less likely to become victims of these distressing crimes.
If you would like to make a real difference in your community and help prevent the misery and financial impact that fraud can have on vulnerable members of the community, please come along to a volunteer training workshop on Monday 18 November from 10.00am – 1.00pm at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Warren Lodge, Warren Road, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 6NH (Wash Common).

This project is supported by a range of other local agencies, including Thames Valley Police, Trading Standards, Banks, training providers, voluntary and community organisations and many others, who, together with the Neighbourhood Watch Network, will provide volunteers with ongoing support and resources.
We are low on numbers so please come along on Monday or to advance book a place, please contact Clare at or visit our Eventbrite page via the below link:

Very many thanks.
