This is all crime over the last 48 hours.

It is a really good start to our Winter Burglary Campaign

NO BURGLARIES ACROSS RBWM IN THE LAST 48 HOURS !

Sorry there haven’t been many crime updates, but we have been working on our Winter Burglary Campaign.

A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY
Come and say Hello

As part of the Winter Burglary Campaign which started this month, officers will be in Wessex Way Shops, on Friday 7th December, between 5 p.m. / 9 p.m. with our new ‘AdVan’.  A mobile advertising van, with screens along the sides, showing various police crime prevention messages.

Please come along and speak to our officers, to find out more information about how not to be a burglary victim.  You can meet PCSO Emily Baker, PCSO Aneta Welnitz and PCSO Graham Knight.  We are also hoping to have a representative, from the RBWM Community Wardens.

If you want more advice / Crime prevention information, you can always contact a member of your Neighbourhood Team, by emailing them, on their Group email address, set out below, above your particular Neighbourhood.

You can of course use the 101 number, or make contact online.  If you want to supply is with information / intelligence in total anonymity, you can phone The Crimestoppers Charity on 0800 555 111

First a message from the Borough:

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Ageing Well Strategy, will outline how organisations across Borough, will work together, to help you live healthy, active and happy lives, for as long as possible and if you need more help, how they will ensure they work together, to support your needs.

Can you help?

Once they know what is important to you, as you grow older, they can plan to make sure your priorities are met. They would like your help, to develop an ‘Ageing Well Strategy’, that will run from 2019 to 2023.

They are asking anyone who might be interested, including professionals and older people, to complete the questionnaire below, so they have your thoughts and ideas, at this early stage.

Over the last few months they have already spoken to many people across the Royal Borough. The main issues identified that might impact on our abilities to age well include:
  • Transport and access to services
  • Improved access to information and advice
  • Improved ways of working between community and health services to support healthy ageing
  • Access to a range of social activities
  • Access to affordable housing that supports people to live independently as they age
  • Loneliness and isolation
Don't delay, have you say now
