Criminal Damage

Alert message sent 09/11/2018 09:45:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police are aware of several incidents of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour which have been reported in the Woodley and Earley area with particular damage to cars and windows. The Wokingham Neighbourhood Team are aware of the negative impact this behaviour can have on residents and solving the issue is a priority. Several lines of enquiry are currently being investigated and in order to support us with this we would like to request local residents to provide any information they may have about the issue.

Could any residents that are aware of incidents near them and who own CCTV please review the footage and see if it captures the offence. If you have any footage please call 101 and quote reference 43180332889. Please could you provide a brief description of the offence, a date of the recording and your name and contact details so we can arrange collection of the footage.

We are also aware that incidents being discussed on social media are not being reported to the police. It is important that we are aware of when and where these incidents are occurring and have the opportunity to investigate them. Please could you report all offences either via 101 or online at: www.thamesvalley.police.uk/ro/report/
