Month of Stronghold focused activity in Windsor and Maidenhead

Alert message sent 01/11/2018 15:28:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police in Windsor and Maidenhead will be carrying out a month of activity throughout November as part of the Stronghold campaign.

Stronghold is the force’s commitment to tackling serious and organised crime.

Local teams will be out and about across the local policing area, working to disrupt those engaged in drug related serious organised crime and prevent further criminality.

Look out for a further alert in November that will let you know where officers will be.

They will also be working in partnership with Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Slough Borough Council and Crimestoppers.

Inspector for Problem Solving and Safeguarding Mike Darrah, based at Maidenhead station, said: “We are committed to preventing drugs related serious and organised crime in our communities.

“By working together we can help to keep our community safe.

“We would urge anybody who has any concerns or information to get in touch.

“Alternatively, if you see or hear anything unusual or suspicious, please report it to us through our website or call 101.”

Follow the activity on our social media using #TVPStronghold and #TacklingExploitationTogether.

More information about Stronghold can be found on the Thames Valley Police website.
