Attempt Burglary

On Thursday 13th September 2018 between 9.10 pm and 9.50 pm an attempted burglary occurred at Penn Drive, Denham Green. An unknown offender has gained access to the front garden by damaging a gate and then walked around the back of the house before being confronted by the home owner. The victim has described the offender as a white man in his late 20’s early 30’s, with a scruffy beard wearing a baseball hat and blue tracksuit.

Please consider a few simple prevention steps to your property: -
1.    Keep windows and doors shut, locked and in good condition
2.    Property mark your valuables with a UV pen or forensic property marking kit,   then register on Make a note of all model numbers and serial numbers of all electrical items.
3.    Use a timer switches to make your home look occupied in the evenings


4.    Perhaps purchase a fake/simulated TV device which lights up a room like a real TV.


5.    Ensure car keys are safely stored away from the front door
6.    Keep tools and ladders locked away out of sight.
