This message is dated Wednesday 11th July 2018 for CountryWatch.

 

RBWM:

 

9/7  Monday 2.30 p.m.  Foundary Lane, Horton.  Crop found on fire in a field.  Crop damaged as well as a tractor, which was in the field.  It was put out by Berks Fire & Rescue, who will carry out an investigation, but no offence confirmed at this time.

 

The Kenilworth Horsefair, will take place between 27 - 29/7 2018

 

FOR THE REST OF THE THAMES VALLEY:

 

2/7 - 10/7  Church, Little Lane, Horley.  Lead stolen from church roof.

 

10/7  Church, Upper Icknield Way, Halton.  Lead stolen from church roof.

 

10/9  Farm, Eakley Lanes, Stoke Goldington.  A witness reported seeing 2 men attempting to steal solar panels in a filed.  The police attended immediately but they had made off.  Nothing stolen.
