Volunteers Week

Alert message sent 04/06/2018 12:43:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Have you ever considered volunteering with us?

It’s National Volunteers’ Week and we are celebrating the work of our volunteers.

We have over 500 Police Support Volunteers, over 400 Special Constables and over 200 cadets.

By working with us and our partners, these volunteers help keep Thames Valley safe.

We currently have a number of opportunities for enthusiastic volunteers to assist in the running of our Cadet Units across Thames Valley.

Cadet Leaders help young people to develop their skills and confidence alongside supporting a wide range of activities and events in the local community.

Anyone over 18 is eligible to apply and you need to be able to commit to one evening a week, with some additional hours when required.

Find out more about our Cadet Leader opportunities on our website.
