Appeal for information after a burglary – Wing

A burglary has been reported in Moorlands, Wing, on Saturday (02/06).

Between 8:15am and 9:50pm offender(s) have unbolted the side gate to get into a rear garden. They have then smashed the bottom glass panel in the rear door and used the keys to open it.

A messy search has been made of the residence and property stolen included cash and jewellery.

Detective Constable Gemma Howe, based at Aylesbury Police Station, is investigating this crime. Please contact her if you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area on Saturday.

You can call DC Howe on the 24 hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43180166816.

If you don’t want to speak to the police or give your details you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or report it online.

Please remember to remove keys from doors and window as they may tempt an opportunist burglar to break into your home. Lock your garden gates using a good quality lock, so that they can’t be opened by reaching over the top.

Crime prevention advice and information can be found on the Thames Valley Police website.

You can follow the Aylesbury Vale policing teams onand and find out what they are doing in your area.
