As you may already know, The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle will take place at Windsor Castle on Saturday 19 May.
Such a high-profile event has attracted world-wide attention and we anticipate thousands of people will visit the town in the weeks running up to the wedding and on the day itself.
As such, we are working to try and minimise the impact on your day to day lives and we want to keep you informed as much as possible.
As part of this, Thames Valley Police will be hosting two online Cover it Live question and answer sessions for local residents and businesses to update you on the plans in place and help you to make your own arrangements where necessary.
The first forum, on 19 April, will be specifically for local businesses and the second, on 3 May, is for all residents. More details can be found below.
Inspector Louise Warbrick from the Windsor and Maidenhead Neighbourhood Team will be joined by Windsor Town Centre Manger, Paul Roach, and Civic Team Manager, Andrew Scott, from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Council to answer any questions you may have.
Whether you want to know about road closures, have concerns about access to local services and travel networks or would like to hear more about the safety and security plans we have in place – please ask us.
These sessions are held in the style of online web chats meaning you can log in from the comfort of your own home. All questions can be submitted anonymously.
If you want to take part, you simply need to click on the link at 7pm on one of the dates below. You can even set yourself a reminder by clicking on the link, selecting your session from the Upcoming Events box and entering your email address. This will then send you an email before the event reminding you to log into the forum.
