Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Abingdon

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary which occurred in Abingdon.

The incident took place at the Pandora Jewellery shop in Bury Street, Abingdon at about 10pm on Thursday (8/2).

Three men broke into the rear of the shop and stole an amount of jewellery. The offenders then left the scene on foot in the direction of James Court.

Two of the offenders were wearing jackets with hoods up and scarves around their faces. The third offender was wearing a bright blue jacket with a light coloured scarf. They were also carrying a blue, laundry style bag.

Detective Sergeant Jon Shaw, based at Abingdon Investigation Hub said: “We are investigating this burglary and I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who saw any suspicious activity in the area at around the time of the incident.

“If you have any information which you think could help our investigation, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.”
