Crime Update Friday 12th January 2018 - Oldfield and Bray

This message is dated Friday 12th January 2018 for Oldfield and Bray.

11/1  Thursday 2.25 a.m.  Oldfield Road.. Attempted burglary.  An offender entered the property via the rear garden and climbed on garden furniture to smash a small kitchen window.  They then reached in to open a larger window using a key which had been left in the lock.  The owner heard the noise and went to investigate.  The offender was disturbed and immediately made off.

11/1  Thursday 2.45 p.m.  Braywick Road.  Burglary.  The owner was at home and heard their door bell and someone knocking at the door.  As they went downstairs to answer it.  They then saw and heard an object being hit against the door and a small pane of glass was smashed beside the lock.  A hand then came through the hole to open the door.  The offenders then saw the owner and immediately made off - so no entry gained.
