There have been NO burglaries in dwellings for the week just gone which is very good news.

Police Advice

 

Continue to keep a check on your security, lock doors and windows when not around. Remember if you go into the back garden to do some gardening or just to relax in a chair, close those front downstairs windows or those on the first floor if there is an easy way to climb up and enter. It takes just a few minutes for an offender to chance their luck.

Incident Report :

 

During the last week we have had a total of 3 burglaries other than in dwellings, with 2 of those at business premises with 1 of those being an attempt;1 theft of motor vehicle from a hotel car park and  2 thefts from motor vehicles were reported at a retail premises. 2 theft of pedal cycles have also been reported.

Bullbrook

 

There has been a report of criminal damage to a vehicle in Park Road between 1900 and 2106hrs on Monday 10th July. Offenders have caused damage to a moped which had been left by the owner, locked in the car park opposite the dental surgery at Avis House. The offenders have moved the vehicle 3 bays away from where it been parked and was facing the opposite direction.

There has been a report of criminal damage to a vehicle in Hythe Close overnight of Thursday 6th and Friday 7th July. Offenders have punctured two tyres on a Honda Civic.

North Ascot

 

There has been burglary other than in a dwelling in New Road sometime during the early hours of Wednesday 12th July. Offenders have forced the lock on a garage door and have taken electrical tools from within.

Great Hollands

 

There has been a report of criminal damage to a vehicle in Viking sometime overnight of Sunday 9th and Monday 10th July. Offenders have popped the lock on the offside of a Ford Transit but have not gained entry.

Offenders have targeted another vehicle in Viking, this time between 1200hrs on Monday 10th and 0930hrs Tuesday 11th. Offenders have pulled of the rear wiper leaving the protective cap on the ground on a Nissan Note.

Easthampstead

 

There has been a theft of a black and white Carrera Crossfire 1 2015 Mountain bike which has a thinner wheel on the back from outside Brakenhale School, Rectory Lane between 0830 and 1505hrs on Wednesday 12th July, where it had been chained up.

Crowthorne

 

There has been a theft of a green Python Rock Mountain bike from where it was locked to a cycle stand at Crowthorne Railway station, Dukes Ride sometime overnight of Sunday 9th and Monday 10th July.

BUSINESS WATCH

 

Priestwood

 

There has been an attempted burglary other than in a dwelling at Shopto Net, The Western Centre, Western Road sometime between Friday 7th and Monday 10th July. Offenders have cut through a number of skylight panels in an attempt to enter the premises, but have failed.

Two vehicles have been targeted at Homebase Ltd, Wokingham Road at around 1305 or shortly after. Both vehicles are Ford Transit vans, the first was entered after the offenders have forced the side door lock where they have taken the tools from within.

The second van was not entered, but the offenders have tried to force the lock and failed.

Birch Hill

 

There has been a theft of motor vehicle at Hilton National Hotel, Bagshot Road overnight of Friday 7th and Saturday 8th July. Offenders have taken a black Ford Galaxy which had been parked in the car park overnight.

College Town

 

There has been a burglary other than in a dwelling at College Town News agency, Yorktown Road at 0320hrs on Tuesday 11th July. Offenders have gained entry to the premises by smashing through the glass panelled front door and have got access to the cigarette cabinet and taken all the packets on display. They have set the alarm off in the process but have managed to make off.
