Burglary Alert

Alert message sent 18/05/2017 15:49:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

There have been 3 further burglaries in the Bletchley area.

The first was on Crummock Place, occurring between midnight and 10:40am on 16th May 2017. Entry was gained via an insecure door and 2 mobile phones were stolen.

The second was on Rydal Way, occurring between 9:30pm on the 16th May and 6:00am on the 17th May 2017. It is unknown how entry was gained and a laptop and bank cards were stolen.

The third was at 1:37pm on Chestnut Crescent, a witness saw a male climb inside an open window of a property after climbing the conservatory, police arrived on scene shortly afterwards but the male had left. Jewellery, cash, aftershave and sunglasses were stolen.

Overnight burglaries are very rare, but please remember in the warmer weather that criminals are active in this area, don't become a victim.
If you want a window open, keep them on a latch to stop them being opened fully.
