How Residents can help the police:
  •  If you see or hear anything suspicious ring the police on 101.
  • If you see something happening to someone’s house and you think someone may still be there ring 999.
  • If you see a suspicious vehicle, if possible take down the make, model, colour and registration number and ring the police on 101
  • Never leave spare house or vehicle keys by the front door and never have them on a hook just inside your hall
  • If you see someone acting suspiciously, make a note of what they look like: skin and hair colour, age, height, facial hair, any marks like a tattoo.
