Appeal for witnesses following GBH incident – Slough Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a GBH incident in Slough. The offence took place in Moray Drive at about 2.45pm on Monday (13/3). The victim, a 21-year-old man was assaulted and stabbed following an altercation involving a group of males. He sustained injuries to his back and arm, and was taken for treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital, and has since been discharged. Investigating officer, Det Con Alex Beever of Maidenhead Force CID, said: “The victim in this incident was set upon by a group of males. “He initially thought he had only been kicked and punched, but subsequently discovered two knife wounds whilst being treated by ambulance staff. “This was a frightening experience and I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward. “If you have any information which could help our investigation, please contact the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.” If you do not want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
